The Blogger Box
The Princip:
A choosement of blogger uses their own fantasy and creates advertisement images. This will be used for the event “The Blogger Box”. Beside the blogger picture you can see vendors, where you can buy different items for this picture.
What makes the event special? It isn’t such special like it seems. It is like every event, which we have enough around. Only in this event the blogger and not the shop should be in the foreground.
I think that new blogger should have a chance to get known and that is the aim of this event. So that new blogger have a chance to estabilish their names.
The whole event will be monthly. In the 10nd day of every month.
The shops will be assigned to the participating blogger. This will change every month. Every blogger has the own choice to use the other shops in his own photos also, but the assigned shop must be in the foreground and the item has to be clearly visible!
Every shop has at least 1 exclusive item per month. On the selling vendors the shoplogo is allowed only. (Examples will follow). We don’t want to forget that this is a blogger event.
Every shop has enough prims to sell his items (to rezz deco etc.). A demo of furnitures and buildlings (best would be a mini variant) can be rezzed after consulting the hosts. This demoitem shouldn’t use more prims then allowed. Of course you can rezz a demo for clothes or other attachments in the near of the seeling vendor.
The shops are allowed to sell their exclusive item with discount for the duration of the event, but it isn’t needed. The shops are also allowed to share the earnings with the blogger, but this isn’t needed, too.
Of course shops can use their own advertisement images in their own shop after the event.
In the blogger pictures a styling card is needed, so that potential buyers know, what they can buy.
The shops and blogger will be choosed by a team of blogger and shop owner, which is called “the event team”. The event team has following members: Lilias Ianthalas, Susan Independent …
The blogger choosement criterias:
active blogger
Fantasy theme (medieval, gothic etc)
Flickr and Blog
Photos with good quality (no screenshots etc)
The blogger rules for the event:
1 picture for the assigned shop and 1 picture for a choosed shop, so at least 2 pictures per round.
The picture for the assigned shop must finished two days before the event starts, uploaded in SL and sended to the shop owner and the event manager.
The shop choosement criterias:
Items with good quality.
Encouraged to do something new
Be ready to advertise the event (own group, homepage etc.)
The shop rules for the event:
The vendors have to been placed two days before the event starts.
1 exclusive item
Finances:
Because this is a event, what was made for blogger, there will be a small rent for shops (250 L$ für 3 weeks). Of course we can’t take every shop. It will be a small event for the first time until the concept has been estabilished.
